Adjusting Clip Earrings
If your clip earrings are too tight then please follow these tips to ensure maximum comfort.
On the reverse side of the clip-on-fastening will see that there are three columns (called a paddle back-clip).
The outer two of these columns are hinged onto the clip-on fastening of the earring, but the central one isn't. It ends with a little nib over the edge of the clip's hinge and it is this bar that controls how tight the clip is.
To loosen, simply insert a tweezer or the end of a small screwdriver under the nib end of the middle column and raise by levering ever so gently – and very slightly.
It really does only take a very small adjustment to make a big difference in comfort!
