Our colourful torsade necklaces and matching costume earrings are strung using hundreds of tiny glass beads from the island of Murano. The torsade necklaces are all handmade in Venice and multi strands made up of thousands of hand strung beads are secured to form the twisted bead necklaces termed torsade (meaning a twisted cord, or ornamental twist).

A torsade necklace is very versatile and can dress an outfit either up or down. The glints of gold and silver found in the twisted necklacesenable them to be worn with toning evening dresses, yet a torsade necklace can also look casual when worn with jeans and a t-shirt.
