Scarf Rings and Scarf Clips 

Scarf rings and scarf clips are relatively hard to find nowadays and we’ve no idea why, because they make a fabulous gift and add a stylish finishing touch to a lovely silk scarf.

We encountered problems trying to source scarf rings and scarf clips too, but we persevered and found some lovely handmade ones in gold and silver tone, with or without diamante embellishments, together with some cabochon setting scarf rings that come in a rainbow of colours. 

A scarf ring or scarf clip makes a most effective accessory...

You can use scarf rings and scarf clips to hold scarves together and decorate any outfit and they are one of the most effective accessories that you can use to dress up or down any outfit.

They also make a fantastic costume jewellery gift for the lady who has everything. A scarf ring or scarf clip is different to the norm, hard to find, very useful, and stylish, too. 

If you are in any doubt as to how to use a scarf ring please read on….

1. Lay your silk scarf out with a corner on the top and bottom.
2. Fold the top and bottom corners into the centre.
3. Fold the top edge and bottom edge into the centre again to make the scarf narrower.
4. Drape the folded scarf carefully around your neck with the ends at your front.
5. Slide the scarf ring onto both scarf ends.
6. Slide the scarf ring up to the point where you want to wear it around your neck.
7. Arrange the scarf so that the scarf ring is securing the scarf and the ends of the scarf are coming out of the bottom of the scarf ring neatly and attractively.
8. Arrange the scarf on the upper side of the scarf ring so it is entering into the scarf ring neatly also.
9. Centre the scarf and the scarf ring in front of your neck or place it off centre to either side.

4. Put the scarf ends thought the back loop.

5. Pull the clip up the scarf to the required location.

 6. Close the clip with the cabochon at the front.
